Westside Armchair by Ettore Sottsass

The Westside collection takes its cue from Sottsass’ passion for Viennese Biedermeier chairs, characterized by soft seats with sober lines and minimal decorations. The series is composed of a sofa and an armchair, “geometric” items supported by four heavy rectangular “feet” in lacquered steel; the upholstery is in coloured fabric. The bright colors underline the well-defined forms, which intersect at ergonomic angles in the composition of the seats. The colours define the proportions of Westside.
