Assigned with the complete renovation of this Victorian Townhouse in Norwich, Norfolk, our approach for this project was to highlight the building’s traditional features, whilst showcasing the client’s eclectic collection of mid-century furniture and contemporary art.

Located in close proximity to Norwich train station and the bustling city centre, the property had previously been used as a five bedroom guesthouse and was and left in poor condition. Our skilled team of craftsmen lovingly restored each room and key original features including the large double bay windows, ornate ceiling roses, intricate cornicing and staircase.

Using a soft colour palette of greys and whites as a strong foundation to work from, artwork was carefully selected from the homeowner’s archives and thoughtfully positioned for maximum impact. In addition to the bold artwork and mid-century pieces, contemporary furniture and lighting was diligently sourced to complement each space.

The result is a versatile home, full of character that allows for an even balance of relaxation during the working week and a hub for entertaining family and friends at weekends.
