Jane Richards Interiors invites you to the launch of "Industry Collection" by Dutch/Belgian artists Studio Job & Italian design brand Seletti. The event will coincide with Norwich Fashion Week which runs from 10th - 17th of March.
Rock and roll meets lightweight cast aluminium in an unexpected project that integrates the accessible design of the Italian brand with the unmistakable style of the creative duo from Antwerp and Amsterdam. Industry Collection is an aesthetically valuable and creative collection for the outdoors, consisting of dining chairs, as well as oval and circular patio tables. All pieces have been specially designed for easy assembly and varnished in an epoxy paint with matt powder finish for a contemporary look.
“Why garden? Well, have you ever seen rock and roll garden furniture? So, here it is! With gas masks, butterflies and many others from the Studio Job archives. All nicely casted in aluminium and brightly coloured, although our favourite would of course, be matt black," explains Job Smeets, one half of Studio Job.
Although the launch is primarily in celebration of the new collection, an array of items designed by the studio will also be on show. With thanks to Pad Home, designs from the award winning collection Archives for NLXL will adorn the showroom walls. A prototype of the forthcoming Comtoise wall clock for Alessi will feature alongside a selection of Gothic chairs for Moooi, as well as cabinets and desk lamps designed for Lensvelt, courtesy of Work Form.
A number of rare and exclusive Studio Job Items including a curated selection of Job cushions, key charms, signed copies of the renowned Book of Job, Industry tea towels and Perished notebooks will be available to purchase on the night.
The launch takes place on Monday 14th March from 6.30pm, in-store at Jane Richards Interiors in Norwich, Norfolk. To keep up-to-date with further news and announcements sign up to our newsletter below.
