Gispen is an established Dutch furniture brand, known for their functional, high-end, mass produced designs: a stark contrast from Maarten Baas’s unique and playful works. Baas designed a chair in which a standard shell is cut out in random shapes based on quick drawings, subsequently creating unique pieces for mass production.
